Job Description
 
The Copy Editor should ensure quality of all text content in print, presentation, web, interactive and design projects as well as oversee proof readers, manage traffic. Also negotiates and meets tight deadlines, reviews all print and web material created by Marketing Communications to ensure it meets the highest editorial standards, adheres to the corporate style, and is consistent with corporate brand positioning 


Skills Required
 
  • Excellent editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of French / English grammar and Associated Press style rules.
  • Serves as an effective and valued member of a team.
  • Maintains knowledge of Marketing Communication trends.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage a high volume of work simultaneously.
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and keen to learn

Academic Qualifications
 
Bachelor's degree, preferably with concentration in French/ English, journalism, or communications, or equivalent work experience.

1-3 years experience as a copyeditor in a high-volume communications department or advertising agency.
