Description	- Involved in the modeling,designing and building new databases. - Monitoring the integrity of DB Structures. - Manages the administration of the organizations database. - Managing user accounts and controlling privileges and permissions to database users. - Performing DB System upgrades, updates, preventive and on-demand maintenance and managing technical support service providers. - Improving the effectiveness of DS tools and services. - Maintaining DB Catalogues and Data Dictionaries. -Monitoring DB System performance and ensuring optimum performance. - Monitoring data entry, data transfer and data replication procedures and troubleshooting. - Implementing policies and procedures addressing records retention,supervising regular and on-demand back-ups and recovery procedure - when needed. - Establishes policies and procedures related to data security and integrity and monitors its implementation - Performing performance dialogues with database administrators to identify their areas of improvement and development plans. - Reporting the database performance to customers management supervisory and top-management. - Involved in the process of planning and implementation of the departmental plan.
Qualifications	-University IT-related Degree. -Min 5 years of professional experience in used database packages and technologies.
